Woot! Today I paid off my car. I am now totally debt free! Of course, I'm going to be saving up a lot money to buy things that will put me in more debt, such as a house, but that's good debt. And of course, this doesn't free me from the guilt of needing to blog about Cabo and put up pictures from it and Kansas. All in good time, all in good time.
UPDATE: Ok, actually, the payment didn't go through because it was a large amount and it would have been a "cash advance." This would have meant I would be paying 20% daily (!!!) interest on the amount in excess of $1,300. So, I'm rather glad it didn't go through. However, the credit union I have my loan through can (or will) only do credit card transactions as cash advances. So now I have to send a check above the amount to make sure I catch any interest that accrues while the check is in the mail. The excess will be added to my account with them. Which of course I'm just going to close and they'll have to mail me the funds. Sheesh.

Yeah!!! That is the best feeling! And it really is freeing! : ) I remember paying my Pathfinder off and the bank asked if I wanted another loan to buy a new car - craziness!!! Congrats!
